- 3 fresh mozzarella, balls
- 500 grams cherry tomatoes
- 1 olive, black
- 6 peppercorn
- fresh basil leaves
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- sea salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste

Halve the fresh mozzarella and trim the edges if needed so each half is round and even.

Arrange the mozzarella halves, rounded side up, in a circle on a large platter to form the wreath base.

Scatter the cherry tomatoes around and between the cheese pieces. Halve some tomatoes if needed to fill gaps and create a balanced look.

Quarter a black olive and remove any excess flesh from the inside of each quarter.

Use a small, sharp knife to cut the olive skin into tiny V shapes for eyes and curved pieces for smiles.

Place the olive pieces on the mozzarella to create faces. For a quicker option, use whole peppercorns for eyes or both eyes and mouth.

Tuck fresh basil leaves into the remaining gaps around the wreath for color and fragrance.

Finish with a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic glaze, then season lightly with sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
