These 4-Ingredient Nutella Cookies are incredibly simple to make and absolutely delicious — a must-try for any Nutella lover.
When I first made three-ingredient peanut butter cookies, I didn’t think such few ingredients could yield a great cookie. I was pleasantly surprised. Fewer ingredients often mean a more concentrated flavor — and these Nutella cookies deliver pure chocolate-hazelnut bliss while remaining easy to prepare.
I had wanted to try Nutella cookies for a long time, and when I realized it was World Nutella Day, I finally gave them a go. I already had a jar of Nutella on the counter, so it felt like the perfect occasion.

The verdict: heavenly. These cookies are moist, chewy and fudgy — chocolatey without being cloyingly sweet. They’re simple to make and satisfyingly rich.
Enjoy them warm with a glass of milk, or let them cool completely; they stay delightfully chewy either way.
I owe this recipe to Kirbie’s Cravings, whose Easiest Nutella Cookies inspired my adaptation. The result is a definite winner.
Serve with milk or coffee — these cookies make an excellent snack or dessert anytime.

What are the INGREDIENTS for 4-Ingredient Nutella Cookies?
- Nutella – use the original for the best flavor.
- Egg – room temperature is preferred.
- Flour – all-purpose unbleached flour.
- Chocolate Chips – semi-sweet works well since Nutella is already sweet.
How do you make 4-Ingredient Nutella Cookies? Step-by-step instructions follow.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine 1 cup Nutella, 1 egg, and 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour.
Using a wooden spoon, mix until a cohesive dough forms and no flour lumps remain.
Stir in 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Use a rounded tablespoon or a cookie scoop to portion the dough into balls — this recipe yields about 18 cookies. Place the balls on a cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Optionally, press each ball slightly to flatten; leaving them rounded also works and produces a rustic look with small cracks.
Bake for about 10 minutes. The cookies will be slightly soft when removed — let them rest on the baking sheet for 3–4 minutes so they firm up enough to transfer to a wire rack. Cool completely on the rack or enjoy while still warm for soft, melty chocolate chips and a tender center.

4-Ingredient Nutella Cookies
Manila Spoon
Ingredients
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1 egg
- ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons of flour
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Nutella, egg and flour.

-
Mix with a wooden spoon until the dough comes together and no flour lumps remain.

-
Stir in chocolate chips until evenly incorporated.

-
Portion the dough into rounded tablespoon-sized balls; this yields about 18 cookies.

-
Place the cookie balls on a sheet about 2 inches apart and bake for 10 minutes. Let rest on the sheet for 3–4 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

-
Enjoy warm so the chocolate chips are soft and melty, or serve after cooling — either way the cookies remain chewy and delicious.

Notes
Flattening the cookie balls is optional. Leaving them rounded creates a charming cracked top; smoothing the surface will give a neater, rounded edge.
